I’m nominated for BEST ACTRESS (DRAMA) for “The Choice” which premieres Opening Night of The Brightside Tavern Film Festival on March 2 at 7pm when I’m getting an HONORARY ACTING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD. This heartfelt film follows my character Charlise who faces the challenges of dating while battling advanced MS.
I won BEST ACTRESS for my role of Janet (the lead actress) in “The Waiting Room” a short film by Debra Markowitz of Intention Films & Media which is screening March 16 at 6pm at Queens World Film Festival and March 24 at 2:30pm at Garden State International Film Festival.
Thrilled to star alongside Katharina Schmidt, Mark Lyons and Ronald Scott Maestri in Director Andrew Schwarz latest film “Beauty”. His last film premiered at Academy affiliated Nashville Film Festival. And stoked to be cast as Anna Konda in the upcoming comedy feature “Everybody Loves Dick” based on the behind the scenes antics of the 1980’s Aerobics industry.
I’m excited to partner up with Terrie Kaufman and Donna Bayers in Andrew’s Worst Nightmare Productions. #ustoo
I’ve been lucky to have worked with such stars as Tim Conway, and Tom Poston in”The Odd Couple”, Samantha Eggar and Shani Wallis in “Mame”, Carl Reiner in a workshop of his short plays, Rob Corddry doing sketch comedy in “Third Rail Comedy” and Judd Hirsch in the web series “Small Miracles.”
And I’m a real life overworked overburdened Super Mom of two boys, a writer/producer and 2x BEST ACTRESS WINNER and BREAKOUT PERFORMANCE WINNER for the lead role in my multi-award winning autobiographical comedic short film “Mother of the Week”.
For four glorious years, I got to host the NY Mets baseball show for kids DYNAMETS! and have an Emmy Award to prove it.
As an Ex-Radio City Rockette, I’m proud to have not only danced on the Great Stage, but to have written and performed 21 original characters in the critically acclaimed Off Broadway solo show about my experiences at the Music Hall, called “KICKING & SCREAMING, The Musical!” Only an Ex-Rockette can tell you what it’s like behind the kickine.
